On November 21, 1982, Pastor George Fountain led the first worship service for Raisinville Baptist Church at Raisinville Elementary School. Within four years the growing church was able to begin making plans for a building of their own.
April of 1989 saw the groundbreaking of the new building, as well as a variety of churches coming together to help with the construction.
By God's grace and provision, the building was complete. Members walked from Raisinville Elementary to the new building on May 20, 1990.
After serving as lead pastor for 26 years, Pastor George B.A. Fountain retired in 2008 and was designated as Pastor Emeritus.
In 2008, Dr. Tony Lynn was called to serve as lead pastor.
Pastor Tony Lynn served for over six years before being called to serve in the Baptist State Convention.
In 2014, the name of the church was changed from Raisinville Baptist Church to CrossPointe Church.
On November 1, 2016, CrossPointe Church called Jay Anderson to serve as lead pastor.
